Arthur Wehmeier

Arthur E. Wehmeier, 95, of St. Louis, Mo., died June 13, 2011.

He was born Feb. 25, 1916, near Troy, Ill. He married Donna P. Bollinger on May 6, 1944. She preceded him in death on Oct. 29, 2000.

Surviving are one daughter, Janet (and David) Haas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was a World War II Navy Veteran.

He was Jennings School District superintendent.

He was a member of St. Jacobi Lutheran Church.

Services were held June 16 at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur. Burial will be at Friedens Cemetery in Troy at a later date.
