David M. Wardell, 57, of Ellisville died at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1949, in Seattle, Wash., a son of Frank M. and Shirley Mae Deakin Wardell.
Surviving are one sister, Lois (and Jerry) Baker of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He had worked as a coal miner, and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America.
Cremation has been accorded. Services were held Monday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Layton Malone officiating. Interment of ashes took place at Palm Cemetery in rural Rushville.
