Ed Marvin Willey, 71, of Macomb, died at 11:51 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 15, 1934, in McDonough County, a son of Ira and Alta Shannon Willey. He married Bobbie Poppenhager in 1988 in Hannibal, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Robert of Albuquerque, N.M., Chris of Metamora, Jay of Macomb and Steve of Washington; one stepson, Wade Brown of Waukesha, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Russell, Randolph and Richard.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He worked at NTN Bower for more than 30 years.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Clugston-Tibbits Funeral Home in Macomb was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
