Nellie E. (Lam) White, 87, of Lemont died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Palos Community Hospital.
She was born in Astoria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald White.
Surviving are a daughter, Noreta White of Chicago; two sons, Larry (and Joellen) White of Snellville, Ga., and Gary (Mary Kay) White of Homer Glen; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Della (and Forest) Groff of Oregon, Bessie (and John) Stauffer of Ohio, and Velma (and Clyne) Ritchie of Indiana; two brothers, Robert (and Erma) Lam of Iowa, and Wayne (and June) Lam of Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, June 5, at Markiewicz Funeral Home in Lemont.
