Cecil Wright

Cecil E. Wright, 90, of Macomb, formerly of Fulton County, died at 3:04 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2002, at McDonough District Hospital.

He was born May 24, 1911, in Farmers Township, Fulton County, a son of Ira C. and Gladys M. Lovell Wright. He married Lela Totten on June 5, 1936, in Green Valley. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Gary of Burlington, Kan.; one sister, Helen Brooks of Smithfield; three brothers, Clarence of Bushnell, Clayton of Smithfield and the Rev. Dean of Mathews Bay; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

He farmed in the Marietta and Table Grove areas all his life, retiring in 1978.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Macomb.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Randell Whitmire officiating. Burial will be in Ipava Cemetery in Ipava.

Memorials may be made to his church, Calvary Baptist Academy or any charity.
