Leroy E. Wright, 77, of Table Grove died at 6:16 p.m. Friday, May 15, 1998, at Sprucewood Health Care Center in Macomb.
He was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Canton, a son of Carl and Blanche Woods Wright. He married Joan Ritter on April 7, 1973, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Amanda Wright at home and Sue Engel and Jean Henderson, both of Roanoke, Texas; two sons, Bob and Michael, both of Canton; two brothers, Bud and Dewey, both of Lewistown; three sisters, Linnie Murphy of Canton and Betty White and Carlene Lyons, both of Lewistown; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
One son, Dick, and one sister preceded him in death.
He was a welder at International Harvester Co. in Canton for 31 years.
Services were private with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Fire and Rescue Squad.
