Alice Bernice White, 70, of Canton, died at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 1996, at Graham Hospital emergency room.
She was born Feb. 4, 1926, in Buckheart Township, Fulton County, a daughter of William H. and Maude Henderson Taylor. She married Charles E. White on Dec. 27, 1945, in Fairview. He died Nov. 28, 1992. Three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Charles W. White of Smithfield and Stephen White of Canton; one daughter, Sherryl White of Canton; one brother, Ernest Taylor of Caldwell, Idaho; four sisters, Rosalea Primm of Edina, Mo.; Ruby McCoy and Dorothy McAdams, both of Cuba, and Mary McLaren of Aurora; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of the Lupus Foundation of American, Illinois Chapter.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Fairview witih Rev. Delmar Smith officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Fairview.
