John WilsonJohn WilsonJohn Edward Wilson, 74, of East Peoria, formerly of Industry and Table Grove, died at 2:54 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 1995, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Industry, the son of Charlie and Icia Vincent Wilson.
Surviving is one aunt, Reba Raby of Table Grove. One sister preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a former member of the Elks Club. He owned and operated a gas station in Rock Island. He was a self-employed truck driver.
Graveside services were held Friday at Harris Cemetery near Table Grove with Rev. Clint Palmer officiating. Military rites were held by Table Grove American Legion Post 413. Arrangements were by Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.
