Maurine A. Walters, 77, of Adair died at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 1995, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born June 26, 1918, near Table Grove to Oscar and Elizabeth Baughman Walters.
Surviving are one brother, Jack Walters of Table Grove; two sisters, Ellen Graff of Macomb and Margaret Unsell of El Paso, Texas; three nieces, Karen Danner, Chillicothe, Kay McElfresh, Peoria, and Denise DeWitt, Houston, Texas; and one nephew, Dr. Tom Graff of Fayetteville, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Sharon Daniell.
She was a graduate of Western Academy of Macomb and the Liberty Beauty School in Peoria. She was a beautician in Adair for over 50 years. She was a member and Past Noble Grand of Bushnell Rebekah Lodge. She was a member of the Fulton County Beauty Operators Association. She attended the Faith Methodist Church in Macomb. She was a correspondent for the Astoria South Fulton Argus.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with Rev. Robert Skinner officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
