Charles L. Warfield, 89, of Canton, died at 10:31 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 1995, at Graham Hospital.

He was born July 27, 1905, in Ipava, a son of George and Neva Little Warfield. He married Genevieve Mullan on Aug. 21, 1944, at Herrin. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert Warfield of LaGrange and Eugene Warfield of Florence, Ala.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Warfield of Bradenton, Fla.; and two sisters, Katherine Simpson of Canton and Bessie Auerheimer of Glendale, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by one son, Damon Warfield; four brothers; and three sisters.

He was General Foreman at International Harvester for 42 years, retiring in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Canton where he served as an elder. He was one of the founders of Youth Acres in Canton. He was a member of American Legion 16, Loyal Order of the Moose 784, Elks Lodge 626, Canton Country Club and Skirt and Shirt Club, all of Canton.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
