Virgil Weber Of Macomb Dies

Virgil Weber, 88, of Macomb died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 21, 1990, at Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.

He was born July 29, 1901, near Ipava, a son of Nicholas and Phebe Humphrey Weber. He married Elsie Miller on Jan. 17, 1923. She died Jan. 19, 1935. He married Mabel Bozell on Aug. 9, 1942, and she died May 28, 1970. He married Hildreth Worley on Oct. 29, 1973. She survives.

Also surviving are two stepsons, Darrell Maddlock of Plymouth, Ind., and Richard Worley of Gatesville, Texas. He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

He was a farmer, real estate salesman and, for 18 years, a school bus driver. He was a member of the Church of God Abrahamic Faith in Macomb.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Worley officiating. Burial will be in Ipava Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to his church’s building fund.
