George E. Wilson, 65, of South San Francisco, Calif., died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1981 in California.
He was born Dec. 3, 1915 near Astoria, a son of Thomas and Elizabeth Wilson.
George’s early years were spent around Summum and Astoria and he was a member of the Summum Christian Church.
He was united in marriage on March 11, 1944 to Veronica Gunst of New York City, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are eight children, George Jr. of Hawaii, William of Germany, Thomas of Orange, Calif., Mary of South San Francisco, Kristi Sue, Saundra and Patricia, also California residents. There are also several grandchildren.
He has one sister, Mrs. Delbert Spangler and one brother, Dr. John Boodin, both of Deltona, Fla. and one sister, Mrs. Mary Moyer of Lincoln, Nebr.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 30, in the Neuman Lincoln Funeral home in South San Francisco.
