Robert L. Weaver Dies Saturday

Robert Leo Weaver, 77, of Lewistown, Route 2, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 1975, in Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born on Nov. 6, 1897, in Liverpool Township, a son of William and Mary Harrison Weaver. He married Bessie Purtle on Aug. 3, 1917, at Lewistown. She died May 6, 1961.

Surviving are five sons, Calvin Weaver of Lewistown, Robert Weaver of Havana, William Weaver of Ellisville, Carroll Weaver of Astoria, and Clifford Weaver of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. Urene Vaughn of Smithfield, Mrs. Virginia Helle of Galesburg and Miss Lena Weaver of Wataga; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Weaver of Marion and Jerome Weaver of Canton; and two sisters, Mrs. Ullalea Adams and Mrs. Clementine Crayton, both of Canton.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton with Rev. Paul Hawf officiating. Burial was in the Bryant Cemetery.
