Oliver P. Wilson Dies In Michigan

Oliver Perry Wilson, 89, was born July 1, 1880, in Illinois and died Jan. 27, 1970, in Ithaca, Mich.

In September of 1918 he married Garnet Tidrick of Astoria.

Mr. Wilson was a charter member of the Ithaca church. He received his education in denominational schools, graduating from Southwestern Junior College in Keene, Tex., and receiving his B. A. at Emmanuel Missionary College, Berrien Springs, Mich., in 1918. Later he obtained his M. A. degree at the University of Illinois. His life was directed to the education of young people for 44 years. He taught in Takoma Park, Md., and Walderly and Cedar Lake academies in Michigan.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Jule Lockwood of Millington, Mich., and Mrs. Jane Smith of Suttons Bay, Mich.
