Harrison Woods Of Ipava Dies

H. Harrison Woods, 81, of Ipava, a retired farmer, died Friday morning at his home in Ipava. He had been in failing health for about one year.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. James Dona officiating. Interment was in the Canton Mausoleum.

He was born March 18, 1889, in Banner Township, Fulton County, the son of William and Lavina Ewers Woods. He was married to Rose Fouts Jan. 1, 1914. She died Dec. 13, 1963.

He was a member of the Berean Christian Church.

Surviving are one son, Robert Woods of Ipava; one sister, Mrs. Lulu Hughes of Hinsdale; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were one sister and five brothers.
