Canton Boy Killed

Everett Whittaker, the six year old son of Joseph Whittaker of Canton, died at 5 o’clock Sunday evening from the effects of injuries received when he was struck by a Ford taxi Saturday evening as he was coasting with a sled. His neck was broken and the skull fractured. The driver of the taxi was James Krock who had two passengers for Dunfermline.

The verdict of the coroner’s jury was to the effect that the boy came to his death by being accidentally struck by an automobile.
