Harry Willmarth

VERMONT — The many friends of Harry E. Willmarth were shocked to hear of his death which occurred recently at Butler, Mo. Harry was at that place working at his trade when he was informed that his wife was sick at their home in Kansas City, Mo. He was seen about 11 o’clock in the evening of the day in which he received the word, going to the depot to go to her. An hour later he was found lying by the railroad track a short distance from the depot dead. As there was bruised marks on his breast it was supposed the corner of a car on a passing train had struck him. The remains were brought here by his brother Will of Halden, Mo., after funeral ceremonies at the home of his mother the remains were interred. Harry was born in this county and resided here since 1868. He was well liked owing to his social manner and obliging disposition.
