SHELDONS GROVE — James, little son of George and Mary Winner was born July 27, 1899. Departed this life March 9, age 7 months and 10 days. He was only sick a few days, all earthly help was rendered to him, but only to do him no good for it seemed as if our Savior had said “Suffer little ones to come unto me”.
Little Jimmie has gone to live with Jesus,
He has crossed bold Jordon’s wave;
He has landed in the city,
Though his body is in the grave.
As the silvery bells of heaven
Rang a welcome to his soul,
As he stepped from out the life boat
On the pearly streets of gold
While in this world we all do miss him,
As from earth he’s called away;
If faithful to the Lord, we’ll meet him
In the land of endless days.
