Marjeane K. “June” Vance, 84, of Rushville, formerly of Phoenix, Ariz., died at 2:30 p.m. May 17, 2020, at her home.Marjeane K. “June” Vance, 84, of Rushville, formerly of Phoenix, Ariz., died at 2:30 p.m. May 17, 2020, at her home.
She was born June 17, 1935, in Sheldon, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Beula Rowe Nelson.
Surviving are one daughter, Annette (and Bob) Leckrone of Rushville; one grandchild, Brandon Larsen; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jim Vance III; and one grandson, Nickolas Leckrone.
She worked for over 20 years as a buyer with the State of Arizona Procurement Department, retiring in 1997.
She was a former member of the Jaycettes and First United Methodist Church in Phoenix.
There will be no services. The Wood Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
