Jerry Vratis

Jerry Vratis, 84, of Astoria, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at his home.

He was born March 8, 1914, in Chicago. He married Iola Baker on Dec. 17, 1947, in Aurora. She survives.

Also surviving are two sisters.

One brother preceded him in death.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a farmer in Schuyler and Fulton counties.

Services were held Tuesday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Chaplain Ron Green officiating. Burial was in Bushnell Cemetery in Bushnell.
