Mrs. Cornelia V. Vaughn, 79, of Highview Nursing Center, Peoria, formerly of 941 S. Illinois, Lewistown, died at 4:27 a.m. Monday, Mar. 17, 1980, in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria.
Born Jan. 22, 1901, in Morton, a daughter of Christian and Lena Ingold Garber, she married Everett G. Vaughn Dec. 7, 1943, in Havana. He died July 31, 1965.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Linda Dolan of Peoria; one granddaughter; and two sisters, Miss Ruth Garber of Farmington and Mrs. Roberta (Vesta) Wilcoxen of Vermont.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Hulick Sewing Circle Club.
Funeral services were to be at 10:30 a.m. today at her church with Rev. Clyde L. Winegar officiating. Burial was to be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund.
