She was born March 20, 1936, in Browning, the daughter of Frank and Gladys Harris McGinnis. She married Orvall Unger on May 10, 1953, at Sheldons Grove. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2022.
She also was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Terilyn Cowden; and one brother, Frank Jr. McGinnis.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (and Dave) Coufal of Browning and Cathy McCulley of Rushville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Christian Church “Disciples of Christ” and Rushville Women of the Moose.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Bill Rucker officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service on Friday. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery.
