Randy Utter

Randy G. Utter, 75, of Bryant died at 12:24 a.m. Oct. 28, 2020, at Sunset Nursing Home in Canton.

He was born Dec. 4, 1944, in Rushville, a son of James M. and Juanita A. Farrar Utter.

Surviving are one son, Darrell (and Ruth Frakes) Utter of Hannibal, Mo.; one daughter, Tonya Campbell of Bushnell; two sisters, Peggy (and Steve) Williams of Colchester and Janet (and Steve) English of Marietta; two brothers, Richard Utter of Bushnell and Greg Utter of Keithsburg; and caregiver/special daughter, Sharon (and Jeremy) Smith and family; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Steve and Dennis (infant); and girlfriend, Tina Werry.

He grew up in Bushnell, graduating from Bushnell Prairie City High School in 1962. He worked on cars. He also worked with heavy equipment and drove a semi for several years. He served in the U.S. Army.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements. Graveside service will be held at a later date at Messerer Cemetery, near Frederick.
