Robert Utter

Robert "Bobby" UtterRobert Leslie “Bobby” Utter, 42, of Rushville was pronounced deceased at 7:54 a.m. May 24, 2018, in Meredosia.

He was born June 17, 1975, in Quincy, a son of Ronald Utter and Cheryl Meyersick Utter.

Surviving are his mother of Rushville; his father of Kansas, Ill.; one daughter, Emma Utter of Rushville; one sister, Deanna (and Lee) Smith of Aurora; two aunts, Joyce (and Ray) Utter Mehra of Naperville and Ardith (and Gerald) Meyersick Thorne of Ozark, Mo.; and one uncle, David (and Peg) Meyersick of London, England.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harlan L. and Mary D. Utter and Robert and Albertha Meyersick.

He was a Lab Billing Associate for Memorial Medical Center in Springfield and was an EMT for Schuyler County EMS.

He was a member of Rushville First United Methodist Church. He was active in the Boy Scouts and had attained the rank of Eagle Scout.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Grant Armstrong and Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
