Eva UngerEva Mae Unger, 100, of Rushville died at 11:50 p.m. Feb. 6, 2011, at Snyder’s Vaughn Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.

She was born April 11, 1910, in Camden Township, Schuyler County, the daughter of Fred and Gertrude Lung Vincent. She married Parker Unger on Sept. 1, 1928, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1976.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Janet Darlene Unger; and three brothers, Lindsay, Ivan and Roscoe Vincent.

Surviving are two daughters, Norma (and Robert) Heitz and Karen (and Keith) Bockwitz, both of Rushville; one son, Orvall (and Shirley) Unger of Rushville; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Rushville with Reverend John Sowers officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery near Camden. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church. Wood Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
