She was born June 19, 1928, in Peoria, a daughter of Edwin and Pearl B. Lindsey DeMoss. She married Merle Terry on Jan. 15, 1947, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Danny Terry of Brooklyn; one daughter, Marilyn (and Jerry) Swanger of Brooklyn; two brothers, Dennis (and Rose) DeMoss of Missoula, Mont., and Edwin (and Roberta) DeMoss of Plano, Texas; one sister, Barbara Billups of Henderson; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Eugene DeMoss; and two great-grandsons.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brooklyn United Methodist Church with Reverend Dan Wise officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Brooklyn Cemetery Fund.
