She was born March 21, 1944, in Meredosia, the daughter of Harry and Vera McDannald Dickman. She married Kenny Lee Toland on July 1, 1962, in Meredosia. He preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2004.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers, Sonny Dickman, Bob Dickman, Carl Dickman, Wayne Dickman and her twin Butch Dickman.
Surviving are three children, Melinda (and Kevin) Robertson and Bill (and Christy) Toland, both of Rushville, and Todd (and Holly) Toland of Rock Springs, Ga.; one brother, Ted Dickman of Columbia, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
She was a 1962 graduate of Meredosia High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rushville.
Graveside services were held Monday at the Oakland Cemetery in Meredosia. The Wood Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
