Harry ThomasHarry Richard Thomas, 78, of Littleton died at 4:50 a.m. March 31, 2015, at the Countryview Care Center in Macomb.

He was born March 27, 1937, in Loudonville, Ohio, the son of Charles and Golda Conrad Thomas. He married Virginia Klinedinst on March 3, 1988, in Palmyra, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Cindy Thomas and Barbara (and Tom) Slabaugh, both of Ashland, Ohio, and Jane Bahntge of South Carolina; seven step children; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was a 1955 graduate of Loudonville High School and served in the U.S. Army.

He was a farmer and building contractor, building homes in Rushville and Macomb. He operated the Country Junction Convenience Store in Rushville. In 1987, he rebuilt the Rushville Square Gazebo.

He was a member of Church of the Nazarene, where he helped with Bible school, remodeling and printed the church newsletter.

A Memorial Service was held Tuesday at Church of the Nazarene in Rushville with Pastor Fred Fritz officiating. A time of remembrance was held after the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to his church or to the Rushville Veterans Memorial.
