He was born Oct. 27, 1953, in Macomb, a son of Robert and Cora Darlene Young Tippey.
Surviving are his father, Bob Tippey of Huntsville; one brother, Kendall (and Teri) Tippey of Arenzville; and two sisters, Linda (and Rick) King of Huntsville and Lorrie (and Jon) Thurman of Rushville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene.
He graduated from Rushville High School in 1971 and was a life-long farmer. He also worked at Schuyler-Brown FS for many years.
Services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. Burial was in Huntsville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Kevin's memory and left at the funeral home.
