Marvin Richard Toncray, 82, of Kilbourne died at 4:10 a.m. Dec. 21, 2010, at his home.

He was born Jan. 15, 1928, in Fulton County, a son of Ross and Florence Hall Toncray. He married Bonnie Rhodes on Jan. 22, 1951, in Greenfield. She survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Cathy Toncray of Kilbourne, Linda (and Mark) Fawcett of Table Grove, Beth (and Brad) Richardson of Bath and Julie (and Pat) Hauser of Springfield; two sons, Alan Toncray and Ronald (and Deanna) Toncray, both of Bath; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at Petersburg where he served as a trustee and also was a member of American Legion Post #1 in Lewistown.

He had served in the U.S. Army from December 1950 until December 1952.

He worked for 10 years at Ideal Industries in Petersburg and then later for 27 years at Tracer Industries in Havana. He also farmed near his home.

Services were held Thursday, Dec. 23, at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Dr. Delbert Penrod officiating.
