She was born Feb. 1, 1918, a daughter of James and Della Harmon Cooper. She married Ralph James Thompson Sr. on Feb. 19, 1949, in Cass County. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Ralph James Thompson Jr.; and one sister, Hazel Wallace.
Surviving are one daughter, Donna Vancil of Rushville; one daughter-in-law, Janene Thompson of Rushville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She owned and operated Thompson Plumbing, Heating and Electric along with her husband for many years until retirement.
She was a member of First Christian Church of Rushville.
Services were held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. John Sowers officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
