She was born Sept. 8, 1916, in Canton, a daughter of Elmer and Ethel Hoots Frame. She married Paul M. Thompson on Jan. 1, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Jan. 14, 2001.
She also was preceded in death by one grandson, Brad Thompson; three infant grandsons; three brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are one son, Ronald (and Marlene) Thompson of Canton; one daughter, Marilyn (and Glen) Siefert of Cuba; two sisters, Betty Bump and Lena Pollitt, both of Canton; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was a homemaker.
She was a member of Cuba Christian Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Rev. Jim Menne officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
