Mary Brinton Tesch, 87, of Macomb died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Wesley Village Alzheimer Unit in Macomb.
She was born March 2, 1915, in Table Grove, a daughter of Ed and Effie Calahan Sanders. She married Robert Brinton on Dec. 21, 1935. He died Aug. 25, 1975. She married Vernon Tesch on Nov. 28, 1997. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, John (and Bonnie) Brinton of Frisco, Texas; two daughters, Judy (and Ed) John of Macomb and Cassandra (and Tad) Throgmorton of Kevill, Ky.; one sister, Velma Morris of Peoria; seven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter and one sister.
She had been a salesperson at Nelson's Clothing Store in Macomb for 32 years.
She was a member of Table Grove Community Church.
She also was a member of Macomb Women's Club, La-Moine Trails Saddle Club and Macomb Deers.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Dodsworth-Pipper-Wallen Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before. Rev. Ron Green will officiate. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
