Mildred TylerMildred Tyler, 91, of Macomb, formerly of Ipava, died at 6:07 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at Prairie View Care Center in Lewistown.

She was born Oct. 13, 1909, in Williamsfield, a daughter of Elmer and Henrietta Tucker. She married Russell Tyler on March 7, 1927, in Peoria. He died Nov. 27, 1991.

She also was preceded in death by two grandsons, two granddaughters, one brother, two stepsisters and one half sister.

Surviving are two sons, Carl (and Shirley) of Los Angeles, Calif., and Gary (and Donna) of Salon, Iowa; two daughters, Emmalou Willison of Towns-end, Tenn., and Linda (and Sam) Porter of Ipava; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Ipava Presbyterian Church and its Katherine Class. She also was a member of the Washington Sewing Circle.

Services were held Tuesday at her church with Rev. Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
