Louise Thomas, 80, of Vermont, died at 9:56 a.m. Sunday, July 26, 1998, at Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown.
She was born Nov. 21, 1917, in Schuyler County, a daughter of Herman B. and Nellie Mae Rose Anderson. She married Sidney M. Thomas on May 18, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Sidney H. Thomas and Lowell K. Thomas, both of Vermont; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Dwight Anderson of Astoria; and one sister, Ruth Chapman of Rushville.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Vermont United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon at her church with Rev. Jerry Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in the Vermont Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church or the Vermont Rescue Squad.
