John L. Taylor, 96, of Vermont, died at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 1990, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born May 5, 1894, in Lewistown, a son of John Thomas and Mary Shaw Taylor. He married Mary Catherine Harn on Jan. 10, 1912, in Burlington, Iowa. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Irene Keime of Vermont and Lucille Post of Washington; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and six sisters.
He was a farmer and a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lewistown.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kost Memorial Home with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
