Lillian Thompson Dies At Age 91

Lillian Thompson, 91, of 801 N. Plum, Havana, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 1990, at Havana Healthcare Center.

She was born Nov. 22, 1898, a daughter of Fleming R. and Julia Fisk Coppenbarger. She married Lloyd C. Thompson on Jan. 4, 1917, in Atcheson County, Mo. He died Nov. 21, 1989.

She also was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.

Surviving are three sons, Larry and Ronald, both of Havana, and Eldon “Sonny” of St. Charles, Mo.; seven daughters, Genevieve Damon of Havana, Geraldine Delores Rowell of Olympia, Wash., Rosalie Richard of Chandlerville, Donna Ray Damron of Dupont, Ind., Sandra Kay Miller of Jacksonville, Karen Swearingen of Clinton and Ellen June Bricker of Downs; 46 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Bryan Newman officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
