UNA TOLAND

Miss Una Toland Died Sept. 19

IPAVA — Miss Una Toland, eldest daughter of Alvin and Rose Haney Toland, was born in Vermont, April 11, 1894 and entered the new life Sept. 19.

Her dearly beloved mother passed on three years ago and Miss Una leaves her devoted father, two sisters, Mrs. Blanch Dean of Vermont and Mrs. Ruth Howell of Ipava; also five nieces and nephews, besides her many friends.

She graduated from Baldwin City, Kansas high school, where the family then resided. She also attended State Normal University at Normal, Ill. After that time she taught school for ten years, part of which was in Kansas, later in Fulton county until ill health stopped that phase in her life.

Her life to her many friends is an unwritten story of devotion to the beautiful and the good things of life. The Toland family formerly lived near Ipava.

Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at the Vermont Christian church. Interment in Vermont cemetery.
