Mrs. Maria L. Tippey died Friday morning at 11 o’clock at the home of Baxter Stremmel. She was aged 88 years, 5 months and 18 days.
Mrs. Maria L. Tippey, daughter of Samuel and Rebecca Weese, was born July 29, 1847 in Pleasant township.
She was united in marriage to Berry Tippey in the year 1886, and no children were born to this union.
She has two brothers and nine sisters deceased. She leaves to mourn her death one sister, Lucilla E. Weese of Astoria, and many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Horton funeral home, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial in Astoria cemetery.
