She was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Browning, the daughter of Amos Dale and Florence Catherine Dodds Walton. She married Leon D. Stambaugh on May 30, 1953, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2013.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Stanley D. Stambaugh.
Surviving are one daughter, Cathy (and Stanley) Butler of Peoria; one son, Kevin (and Linda) Stambaugh of Rushville; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She worked at Knapp Jewelry Store in Rushville.
She was a member of Browning Church Of Christ that her family founded generations before.
Services were held Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor John Ruppel officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
