She was born May 25, 1943, in Canton, a daughter of Carl and Dorothy Darst Pickett.
Surviving are her life partner, John Sullivan; one daughter, Shelley (and Steve) Nasternak; two sisters, Peggy and Linda; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Sonya.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens is in charge of arrangements.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5. Memorial services will be held at Table Grove Community Church with Tim Lindsay officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens is in charge of arrangements.
