Donald Shaw

Donald E. Shaw, 73, of Rushville died at 11:09 a.m. Nov. 10, 2018, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Aug. 24, 1945, in Rushville, the son of James Franklin and Jimina Irene Nell Shaw. He married Connie Jo Gust on Sept. 10, 1976, in Rushville. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Daniel (and Amy) Shaw of Rushville; two sisters, Becky Downs of Rushville and Rose Shaw of New Berlin; and two grandchildren.

He graduated from Rushville High School with the class of 1963. He was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1963-65.

He was a member of Rushville First Presbyterian Church and the Schuyler County Coon Hunters and Coyote Hunters associations.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville. There will be no memorial services.

Memorials may be made to Rushville/Industry High School boys baseball or girls basketball programs.
