Tammy M. Spencer, 41, of Astoria died at 7:07 p.m. May 4, 2016, in Rushville.
She was born June 29, 1974, in Rushville, a daughter of John and Connie Billingsley Brierton. She married John Spencer on July 17, 1993, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Willie Spencer of Astoria; her mother, Connie (and Jim) Dodd of Rushville; her father, John (and Rona) Brierton of Rushville; four sisters, Jeanie Black of Astoria, Aaron (and Josh) Hayes of Table Grove, Salenda Jo “Jo-Jo” (and Steve) Branson of Ipava and Mandy (and Chris) Fawcett of Table Grove; four brothers, Yancy (and Francie) Black of Memphis, Tenn., Marty (and Melanie) Brierton of Macomb, Matt (and Melissa) Brierton and Jesse Brierton, both of Billings, Mont.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a CNA working at various locations. She then graduated from Graham School of Nursing in Canton and worked as an RN at Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville and at Mason District Hospital in Havana.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church.
Visitation services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Cremation rites have been accorded.
