She was born Jan. 28, 1971, in Bellville, a daughter of Charles Michael and Brenda Joyce Stamps.
Surviving are one daughter, Shandess Matteson-Thompson of Rushville; one son, Bryson J.D. Matteson of Ipava; one sister, Debra Stamps-Fagan of Decatur; two grandchildren; and her life companion, James Grant Waters of Vermont.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Danielle Thompson.
A memorial gathering was held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville. Inurnment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Decatur at a later date.
