Dwight StrackerDwight Stracker
Dwight Stracker, 84, of Table Grove died at 6:30 a.m. Dec. 30, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 26, 1929, in Table Grove, a son of Ben and Edith Foster Stracker. He married Ramona Howard on March 17, 1965, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.
Also surviving are other family members.
He worked for Table Grove Elevator, was foreman at Tingley’s in Ipava and foreman at Tracer Industries in Havana. He retired in 1989 after 33 years of being a rural mail carrier for Table Grove Post Office.
He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge of Table Grove, Table Grove Fire Department and Table Grove Town Board.
He was an Army veteran serving from 1947-48 in the Signal Corps as a technician 5th grade.
Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Pastor Rick Weiss officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove.
