She was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Jerseyville, a daughter of Roy and Juanita Vickers Prewett.
Surviving are three sons, Dale (and Stacy) Stevenson of Abingdon, Terry L. Stevenson of Elvaston and Danny Stevenson of Davenport, Iowa; one brother, Lewis (and Viola) Prewett of Warsaw; one sister, Judy (and Albert) Peterson of Gorin, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Eddy Stevenson; one brother, James Prewett; and two sisters, Joann Hass and Hazel Rauch.
She worked many years for Admiral in Galesburg, before retiring in 1991.
Services were held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. John McMurl officiating. Burial was in Messerer Cemetery near Frederick.
A memorial will be established in her name and memorials may be left at the funeral home.
