She was born July 8, 1941, in Bryan, Ohio, a daughter of George and Naomi Stambaugh Saffin. She married Joseph E. Singleton on July 26, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Steve (and Gina) Singleton of Fort Collins, Colo.; one sister, Alberta Mae (and Tex) Mobley of Ashland; and two grandchildren.
She was a 1959 graduate of Gettysburg High School and received her bachelor of science in nursing from Bethel College.
She was a homemaker. She previously worked for Spangler Candy Company in Bryan, Ohio. She also babysat.
She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church in Eldon, Ohio, Classic Feathers Bird Club in Bryan and Hoosier Bird Buddies Club.
Services were held Sunday at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home-Greenisen Chapel, 225 East High St., Bryan, Ohio.
