Mary SchrammMary Winifred "Winnie" Schramm, 91, of Smithfield, formerly of Winona, Minn., died at 2:28 p.m. Sept. 17, 2011, at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.

She was born March 5, 1920, in Winona, Minn., a daughter of Alfred E. and Laura Belle Ingram Krage. She married Eldon L. Schramm on Oct. 5, 1944, in Winona, Minn. He died June 3, 2005.

She also was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are one son, John E. (and Barbara) Schramm of Plymouth, Ind.; two daughters, Mary R. (and Alfred) Schaar of Stuttgart, Germany, and Patricia A. (and Robert) Wright of Smithfield; one brother, Alfred (Winnifred) Krage of Yakima, Wash.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and did clerical work for several companies, retiring from Winona Tool Company after 20 years.

She was a lifelong member of Church of the Nazarene in Winona, Minn., and Smithfield.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Smithfield Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Layton Malone officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment will be in Baughman Cemetery in Smithfield. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is in charge of arrangements.
