Henry Bernard Stawarz, 81, of Rushville died at 8:25 a.m. Dec. 31, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Chicago, a son of Stanley and Agatha Jerz Stawarz. He married Margie Joan Moore on May 7, 1960, in Griffith, Ind. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Vivian Stawarz of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Ken (and Cheri) Stawarz of Channahon and David (and Linda) Stawarz of Shorewood; one brother, Stanley (and Henrietta) Stawarz of Orland Park; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
He was of Roman Catholic Faith.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He worked as a pressman for R.R. Donnelly and Sons in Chicago for over 40 years, retiring in 1987.
A memorial service will be held in Chicago at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
