Rosalie StrodeRosalie N. Strode, 79, of Cuba died at 5:45 p.m. June 5, 2010, at Graham Hospital.

She was born March 21, 1931, in Cuba, a daughter of Ross and Dorothy Ransom Black. She married Dwight Strode on June 17, 1951, in Cuba. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Randy (and Sally) Strode of Canton, and Rusty (and Theresa) Strode of Lewistown; one sister, Beverly (and Paul) Heitman of Monticello; one brother, Ronald Black; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Rosalie worked as a bookkeeper for 22 years at Clayberg Nursing Home. She was a member of Cuba Christian Church where she served as a Deacon. She was a volunteer for Cuba Lions Club.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Henry Lange Memorial Home in Cuba, with Rev. Kenny Bloyd officiating. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Clayberg Nursing Home or her church’s Building Fund.
